Definitely some of the most rewarding sessions to photography due to your baby being so tiny and new. Newborn sessions are best scheduled in the first 6-14 days old as they are still small, sleepy and more posable at this age. Once they get older they are more alert and awake for longer spurts and can become restless. If your baby is slightly older we can of course still capture precious newborn images up to around 5 weeks we just may have a range of awake and sleepy shots.

Babies tend to arrive in their own time, so if your baby decides to arrive early or keeps you waiting do not worry as there is always room in my diary to adjust dates as required.

My newborn sessions are £99.oo. This payment covers your session time within the studio.

Once your session fee has been received and a date confirmed in my diary I will send you all pre-session information related to the session booked along with a questionnaire that is simply used to help plan out and personalise your session for you. I also like to schedule a phone call to all clients at a convenient time to discuss your session in more detail, chat through any questions, find out a little more about you and what you hope to capture in your session so I can tailor your session to suit you.

Each session carried out is baby led so they are always unique to the next, as what one baby likes another may not. I also only book in one session a day so you can rest assured that we will have ample time to take the session at the right pace for you and your family.

My sessions focus on baby and this is reflected in the colour schemes that I offer. I have a range of props that I use in sessions as well as capturing all the tint details and family images if you would like. Colour schemes for your shoot and the type of images you would like to capture will all be discussed prior to your session.

There is parking close to the studio and refreshments are supplied throughout the session too.

After Your Session

After your session your images will be professionally hand edited and you will then be invited back to the studio for your personal viewing and ordering session to see your final gallery of images and choose your images. Additional images can be added to Studio Collections as well as prints and products.

If you would like to purchase Wall art we can look at samples and discuss the best products and finishes for your home. I also offer a personal home visit to measure up for any artwork you would like framed.

Newborn Session Prices

My Newborn session fee is £99.00. This non-refundable payment is required to reserve a date in my diary and covers my time and the session itself, along with use of all clothing and props. Products can then be added after your session allowing you the freedom to recieve digital files, prints and even slideshows and wall art credit.

Living in a digital world I know that a USB is sometimes the prefered choice of product, however, as technology changes and develops year on year it isn’t always the best way to store such special life memories. I believe that if you are investing in professional images then they deserve to be displayed on the walls of your home to your memories can live outside of a draw or saved away on your USB.

Our Studio Collections have been designed to offer you a mix of digital and print, meaning that you get the best of both. Your cherished memories are captured to be displayed. Your images should be on your walls, displayed in frames and found within albums to look back upon year on year. Our studio collections offer you this.

However, should you wish to order just a few images or prints rather then a full studio collection, due to the time involved in processing and creating your images for your gallery there is a minimum order fee of £249.00 after your session in addition to your session fee.
